Strategy needs to monetize BTC after buying time with digital credit framework, Galaxy ResearchAlex Thorn, the head of firmwide research at Galaxy Research, shared Galaxy's analysis on X, adding his voice to the debate regarding Strategy's newly announced Digital Credit Capital Framework.

The new rules have sparked a debate about whether or not they will solve the company's capital-structure problems or simply delay them.How does Strategy's new capital framework operate?

Strategy (Nasdaq: MSTR) recently disclosed a new "Digital Credit Capital Framework" in a 8-K regulatory filing.

Cryptopolitan reported that the framework grants the company formal permission to sell up to $1.25 billion worth of Bitcoin. Notably, the firm is facing a massive unrealized loss of roughly $14 billion on its holdings of 847,363 $BTC.

The framework creates a formal USD reserve policy that introduces revised dividend terms for its STRC preferred shares, and authorizes separate repurchase programs for both preferred stock and MSTR common shares at $1 billion each.The board has kept aside the company's $2.55 billion cash reserve, restricting its use to preferred dividends and debt interest.

If the current spending rates of roughly $1.76 billion annually are retained, this reserve is expected to last for about 17 months. If the full authorized sale of Bitcoin were to be executed, total liquidity would stretch to approximately $3.8 billion, an amount that would cover about 26 months of obligations.

Jordi Visser, a veteran of the macrofinance world, stated that the era of rapid 7-8 fold gains in the AI sector has stalled, and claimed that global capital and market dynamics will shift to Bitcoin and digital assets in the next major wave.

In a period where the growth rate of the AI rally has shifted gears due to capital expenditures (capex) and hardware bottlenecks, attention has once again turned to macroeconomic balances and the cryptocurrency market. Speaking on Anthony Pompliano’s show, Jordi Visser, a macro investor with over 30 years of experience and founder of AI Macro Nexus / AI22 Research, argued that the “easy money” era in AI is over and that it’s Bitcoin’s turn in capital rotation.

The weekly XRP chart provides another view of the current structure. XRP price has traded mainly inside a sideways pattern during the past 6 weeks, with most major moves occurring between $1.08 and $1.15.

XRP attempted to move above the $1.15 resistance this week. The breakout lost strength, and the token returned to approximately $1.09.

A successful move above $1.15 during the coming week would strengthen the bullish case. XRP could then target $1.20 before testing the upper price area near $1.30.Continued rejection would keep the sideways structure intact. XRP price could remain between $1.08 and $1.15 until Bitcoin, ETF flows, or regulatory news provides a stronger catalyst.

A weekly break below $1.08 would create a more bearish picture. That outcome could send XRP toward $1.00 before opening another possible move toward $0.90.

Dogecoin ETFs Go Quiet Again After Brief $345K Inflow Surge

Dogecoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have returned to a stagnant phase after recording a day of $345,130 in inflow this week.

According to recent data from SoSoValue, Dogecoin ETFs saw $0 in daily total net inflow on July 24.

The same was seen on July 22 and 23 when $0 was recorded in daily net inflow.

This was not entirely the narrative this week, as Dogecoin saw a day of inflow on July 21 when it recorded $345,130. This marked a brief break from the zero-inflow streak seen since July 6, with all days recording $0 in inflows.

Zero-flow days are not unusual for newer or lesser-volume crypto ETFs, particularly those tracking assets beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Dogecoin has crossed $12 million in cumulative total net inflow, despite the lull in inflows. According to SoSoValue, Dogecoin ETFs' cumulative total net inflow stood at $12.12 million as of July 24.

Dogecoin is also marking its first positive week of inflows since the week ending June 18, recording a weekly inflow of $345,130.

Dogecoin signals remain mixed

At the time of writing, Dogecoin was trading down with the rest of the crypto market, down 0.17% in the last 24 hours to $0.07.

BitMart shuts down trading as BMX crashes more than 60%

BitMart has started a phased shutdown of its global cryptocurrency exchange after reviewing its operating conditions, market environment, and future strategy.

According to the official shutdown notice, the exchange stopped new registrations, cryptocurrency and fiat deposits, and new spot orders from 01:30 UTC on July 26. Futures accounts entered reduce-only mode, while copy trading, grid trading, API trading, and other automated services began winding down.

The exchange will end all spot, futures, and other trading services at 01:00 UTC on August 26. However, the full platform will not close on that date. BitMart plans to terminate trading-platform operations at 15:59 UTC on January 31, 2027. Users will retain limited account access for a period after that date to review records and submit withdrawals.
