XRP must break above key resistance levels to trigger a bullish shift, while failing to do so could lead to a retest of critical support.

XRP is currently trading at $1.95, down about 0.3% in the last 24 hours. The price action has been relatively negative within this period, with a daily range between $1.94 and $2.02. The 24-hour trading volume remains significant at $2.84 billion; however, the volume has dropped 19.03%.

Over higher time frames, XRP’s recent performance has been a mix of volatility and a general decline, with a 5.5% drop over the last 7 days and 17.9% loss in the past 14 days. However, XRP has shown some resilience over the last 30 days, up by 1.6%, indicating that the asset faces near-term downward pressure.

Ether and solana dropped more than 3%, DeFi tokens AERO and SKY slid over 5.5% and the memecoin sector lagged, with stability hinging on whether BTC can hold the $85,000–$95,000 range.

XRP’s price was down 2.35% over the past 24 hours, trading at around the $1.90 level at press time.

However, market participation increased during the same period, with trading volume jumping more than 15% to $3.31 billion.

Rising volume during a price decline suggests heightened participation, often reinforcing the prevailing trend.

XRP price action and key level to watch

Amid this uncertainty, AMBCrypto’s technical analysis of the daily chart revealed that XRP was at a make-or-break level of $1.90, which acted as a strong support for the asset.

Historically, whenever the price has revisited this level, it has recorded a strong upside move—something that has occurred more than five times.

Based on the current price action, if XRP manages to sustain above this key support level, it could see a price uptick similar to past moves.

On the other hand, if the asset fails to hold this support, it could experience a sharp price decline of around 27%, potentially falling to the next support level near $1.31 in the coming days.

As of now, the asset is trading below the 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA), indicating continued downside pressure and weak short-term momentum.

Mixed sentiment among traders and investors

However, on an intraday basis, both traders and investors appeared to have a bearish outlook, according to data from the derivatives platform CoinGlass.

Over the past 24 hours, investors have moved a massive $8.15 million worth of XRP to exchanges, potentially in preparation for a sell-off.

At the same time, traders were heavily betting on short-leveraged positions.

According to the XRP Exchange Liquidation Map, traders are over-leveraged at $1.869 on the downside, where they have built $24.46 million worth of long positions.

Meanwhile, $1.947 represents another over-leveraged level, with $37.85 million in short-leveraged positions.

The previously high-flying meme-driven cryptocurrency "Shiba Inu Coin" has seen its upward momentum weaken, with the price falling back to its peak demand level for the year.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) fell to $0.00000745 yesterday due to the impact of Trump's tariff policies, and the asset has retreated to a support level, consistent with the overall cryptocurrency market trend. While this reduces the asset's year-to-date profitability from 46% to 13.9%, it may foreshadow a broader bullish trend.

Key Points

Shiba has fallen to the yearly support level from the January 1st rebound.

The recent consolidation of SHIB also aligns with the trend within a narrowing descending channel on the weekly chart.

There are two possible scenarios: further declines to retest the lower support trendline of the wedge, or an upward reversal to challenge the neckline resistance.

If it falls further, SHIB will retest its multi-year lows; conversely, if it reclaims the channel neckline, it could break through and retest its multi-year highs.

 The Shiba Inu bullish reversal wedge pattern remains valid.

The Shiba Inu fell below its annual support on January 1st, after a rebound in its price from its highs. Despite a poor performance in the fourth quarter of last year, the demand zone during that period still highlights its importance for subsequent price movements.

It's worth noting that the recent consolidation also aligns with the narrowing descending channel trend on the weekly chart. Since hitting a high of $0.00001765 in May 2025, Shiba Inu has been trapped within this structure, with multiple failed attempts to break out.

Bitcoin’s price action in recent days has shifted from controlled upward momentum to rejection in the past 24 hours. After failing to hold above $97,000 last week, Bitcoin has rolled over with expanding downside momentum, printing consecutive indecisive bearish candles on the daily timeframe.

An interesting view was laid out in a recent technical analysis shared on X by a crypto analyst known as Guru, who argued that what many traders mistook for consolidation was, in fact, a late-stage distribution phase for Bitcoin.

Rejection At The Range Top

Technical analysis of Bitcoin’s price action on the daily candlestick timeframe chart shows that the leading cryptocurrency has been trading in an ascending channel with a series of higher lows and higher highs since November 2025. An ascending channel is generally bullish, since it suggests buyers are increasingly gaining control.

However, the outlook laid out by Guru projects Bitcoin’s price action resolving into a bearish downturn. Notably, Bitcoin’s price action recently pushed into the upper boundary of the range and was firmly rejected. This rejection is the focal point of his analysis. Instead of a breakout or a clean continuation higher, Bitcoin failed to sustain momentum at resistance, which is a sign that sellers are stepping in.

In Guru’s view, this behavior is inconsistent with accumulation. He describes the structure as a rising range forming after a completed expansion. The rejection at the upper boundary means supply is overwhelming demand, even though the price is trending slightly higher within the range.

Based on this, the analyst warned that the “party is over” for bulls as a final warning for traders before a projected downturn. “Last call to SELL before the REAL crash hits below 80K. Bulls won’t get another warning,” he said.

Guru’s analysis is very specific when it comes to where he believes Bitcoin is headed if the range.
