While XRP has remained in a “painfully slow” consolidation phase since last month, data shows its broader structure remains intact.

XRP has been stuck in a tight range since late February 2025, oscillating between $1.31 and $1.47 after collapsing from the January peak of $2.41. Despite the slow and frustrating price action, chart data shows the broader market structure remains intact and that the consolidation remains within a defined corrective phase.

The current setup points to two possible outcomes before any major move develops. XRP either drops to test lower support around $0.87 or pushes above the key resistance at $1.65. Until one of those scenarios plays out, the market may remain in its current holding pattern with no clear direction.
Key Points 

XRP peaked at $2.41 in January before collapsing to a low of $1.31 on Feb. 24, and has since been consolidating between that low and $1.47.

Data indicates the price has been following a 5-phase Elliott Wave structure, with the current Wave 4 correction running for 34 days and pulling the price 17% lower to $1.38.

Two key levels will determine XRP’s next major move, with $0.87 acting as the lower support and $1.65 serving as the critical resistance.

There is a 75% probability that XRP would need to test the $0.87 support level first before it can achieve any sustained breakout.

ARK Invest Reveals That 34% of Bitcoin Supply Could Be Compromised by Quantum Computers
$ARK Invest and Unchained, in a joint report, shared a noteworthy assessment of Bitcoin’s long-term risks stemming from quantum computing.

According to the report, approximately 34.6% of the circulating Bitcoin supply is exposed to long-term risks in the face of potential major breakthroughs in quantum computing. In contrast, 65.4% of the current supply is considered relatively safe for now.

The study argues that the quantum threat does not pose an immediate crisis for Bitcoin, but it is an important issue that needs to be closely monitored and prepared for in the long term.

The report states that current quantum computers are far from capable of breaking the elliptic curve cryptography used by Bitcoin. According to the researchers, existing systems are still in an early stage called “NISQ” and require thousands of logical qubits and much deeper error-correcting processing capacity to reach a level that could threaten Bitcoin’s cryptographic infrastructure. Therefore, $ARK Invest and Unchained argue that quantum risk should be considered as a gradual process that could unfold over years or even decades, rather than a sudden “Q-day” scenario.

According to the report, a significant portion of the Bitcoin supply vulnerable to quantum threats resides in legacy address types. Approximately 1.7 million $BTC are estimated to be in old P2PK addresses and largely lost. Additionally, around 5.2 million $BTC are in reused addresses or in some other address types, including portable Taproot addresses, which could theoretically be transferred to more secure addresses. Thus, approximately 35% of the supply is considered vulnerable to quantum risk, while 65.4%, equivalent to approximately 13 million $BTC, is seen as more resilient under current conditions.

Bitcoin Heatmap Shows Support Building Above Channel Break

A Bitcoin heatmap shared by Columbus suggests the market is starting to accept price action above a descending channel, while fresh bid liquidity appears across the order book. The chart points to a possible structural shift as support begins to build around lower levels after the recent move higher.

The visual shows dense liquidity clusters both above and below the current trading zone, with notable bid interest forming near the $68,000 area. According to the analysis, that level matches the former channel resistance and may now act as support if Bitcoin pulls back. This kind of retest often helps confirm whether a breakout is holding.

At the same time, the heatmap shows heavier liquidity sitting overhead, especially in the higher price zones. If Bitcoin continues to hold above the broken channel, that overhead liquidity could become the next draw for price. In that case, the market may move quickly toward those levels as traders target areas with larger resting orders.

The chart therefore suggests a two-step structure. First, Bitcoin may revisit the $68,000 zone where bids are already visible. Then, if buyers defend that area, the broader setup could support continuation toward higher liquidity clusters above the current range.
