Stellar Price Forecast: Bullish momentum builds with technical breakout, high quarterly transaction activity



Stellar ($XLM) price trades slightly down at $0.167 on Friday, after breaking above the descending trendline and rallying over 10% so far this week. The bullish sentiment builds as $XLM’s network transactions reach a quarterly high, alongside positive funding rates and bullish momentum indicators.

Surge in network activity

Chainspect, a blockchain fundamentals tracker, data shows that Stellar processed over 14.19 million transactions on Thursday, its highest level in the past quarter. These surging transactions highlight increased interest and liquidity among traders in the $XLM, supporting a bullish outlook.

On the derivative side, $XLM funding rates have also flipped positive on Monday and read at 0.011% on Friday, indicating the longs are paying the shorts. Historically, when funding rates have turned positive and surged, $XLM price has rallied sharply.

$XLM Price Forecast: Price action shows a bullish breakout in play

Stellar price is trading at $0.166 on Friday, after breaking above the descending trendline at $0.1580 the previous day. $XLM is maintaining a corrective tone below the medium- and long-term Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) as the current price remains capped beneath the 100-day EMA at $0.180 and well under the 200-day EMA at $0.215.

The 50-day EMA at $0.164 now offers nearby dynamic support, while the Relative Strength Index (RSI) around 55 and a slightly positive Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) histogram hint that downside momentum has faded but not yet flipped the structure.

Iran Opens the Strait of Hormuz, Trump Thanks Them! Bitcoin (BTC) Rises While Oil Prices Fall! Here’s Everything You Need to Know


With the two-week ceasefire between the US and Iran nearing its end, a second round of talks is expected to take place.

According to Axios, the US and Iran will likely hold talks in Islamabad on April 19.

Axios also reported that Iran said the deal was for the US to release $200 billion in frozen Iranian funds in exchange for handing over its stockpile of enriched uranium.

Discussions on this matter are reportedly ongoing.

In addition to these reports of talks, statements were also issued by Iran. According to these statements, Iran officially reopened the Strait of Hormuz to ALL commercial vessels for the remainder of the ceasefire period.

The Iranian Foreign Minister stated, “In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage of all commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz is declared fully open for the remainder of the ceasefire period, via the coordinated route already announced by the Ports and Maritime Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

US President Donald Trump thanked Iran for reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

Following the Iranian Foreign Minister’s announcement that commercial shipping traffic in the Strait of Hormuz would resume, WTI and Brent oil prices fell by more than 6% during the day, dropping to $86.51 and $88.53 per barrel respectively.

Ethereum Price Analysis: ETH Breaks Above Descending Channel After 6% Daily Surge

Ethereum is trading around $2,460 as it holds near its highest levels since the February breakdown, with the broader crypto market continuing to recover. $ETH is now pressing against one of the most technically significant zones of the entire correction.

How the price behaves over the next several sessions will go a long way toward determining whether this rally has genuine legs or simply represents another failed attempt at trend reversal.

Ethereum Price Analysis: The Daily Chart

$ETH has broken slightly above the long-term descending channel’s upper boundary on the daily chart and is now testing the 100-day MA near and the horizontal $2.4k supply zone. This is a very important level that has stood firmly over the past couple of months. The RSI has also climbed into the high-50s and is trending upward. This indicates that momentum supports the breakout attempt and is not flashing an overextended signal yet.

The key test now is whether $ETH can convert this into a valid breakout above the $2.4k level and the 100-day moving average. The $2.8k zone above represents the next major supply corridor, with the declining 200-day MA (~$2.9k) located at its upper boundary.

A daily candle close above $2.4k would be the most bullish development in months, and could pave the way toward $2.8k. On the other hand, if the market fails to continue higher, a drop back inside the descending channel would be likely, which could then result in another decline toward the $1.8k critical support area.
