Ethereum has mirrored Bitcoin’s move, climbing back toward the $2,400 region after weeks of sideways movement.

The asset has established higher lows since early March, pointing to a gradual accumulation phase. Its RSI is also trending near 60, reinforcing the view of building momentum rather than exhaustion.

A sustained move above $2,400 could open the path toward the $2,600 resistance zone. At the same time, failure to hold current levels may see ETH retest support near $2,100–$2,200.

These younger generations show stronger crypto adoption, with 45% of Gen Z and Millennials owning crypto compared to 18% of Gen X and Boomers.

Stablecoin liquidity stays idle at $319B as Ethereum activity slows – Why?

A divergence emerged on Ethereum [ETH], where stablecoin liquidity remained present, yet network activity declined during Bitcoin’s [BTC] consolidation phase.

At press time, Tether [$USDT] Active Addresses fell to 202,300, while USD Coin [$USDC] dropped to 109,300, marking the lowest levels since mid-December. Meanwhile, this decline reflected reduced transactional demand on Ethereum, as users held stablecoins without deploying them.

This behavior signals caution, where capital stays idle despite being available, aligning with a prolonged range-bound structure below $75,000. However, as Bitcoin gradually approaches this level, conditions begin to shift.

If momentum strengthens, Ethereum activity may recover, allowing sidelined liquidity to re-enter, increasing volatility; otherwise, continued inactivity may extend consolidation across the market.

Under his leadership, Chainalysis has recently focused on expanding its presence in regions like Tel Aviv and Dubai, while ramping up M&A activity with acquisitions like Transposer. Before becoming CEO, Levin served as the company’s Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) for nearly a decade, leading strategic initiatives, regulatory outreach, and government affairs. Prior to Chainalysis, he co-founded and served as CEO of Coinometrics, which provided some of the industry’s first blockchain intelligence dashboards. Levin is a prominent voice in the cryptocurrency industry, frequently providing expert insights to policymakers.  He has testified before the U.S. Senate Banking Committee and the House Financial Services Committee multiple times, most recently in July 2025, regarding the role of digital assets in illicit finance.
