Capital B, a publicly traded company based in France, continues to increase its Bitcoin investments. In a statement made on the social media platform X, the company announced that it recently purchased 37 Bitcoins for approximately €2.3 million. The bitcoin market has faced familiar problem since prices rose above $70,000 last week: a sharp rise in profit-taking.

More than $20 million worth of BTC has been sold per hour in profit realization, according to blockchain analytics firm Glassnode.

"Every approach to the $70k–$ 80k band faces thin liquidity and profit-taking pressure, capping the bounce. Another bounce to >$70k range was exhausted by >$20M/Hour profit realization," Glassnode said on X.

The message is clear: the $70,000–$80,000 band is less a battleground of conviction and more a persistent distribution zone, as has been observed since February.

In other words, rallies above $70,000 are consistently turning into liquidity events. Instead of buyers chasing momentum higher, holders are using strength as an exit window and the result is a market where every uptick is met with an immediate counterweight of supply.

Bitcoin is struggling to build momentum above $70,000. Prices briefly touched nearly $74,000 on Saturday before slipping back below $71,000 at the time of writing, as the breakdown in Islamabad peace talks between the U.S. and Iran pushed oil higher and weighed on U.S. stock futures.

Until that $20 million-per-hour pressure eases, bitcoin’s ceiling isn’t technical, but behavioral.

Bitcoin Faces Selling Strain Above $70K as Wall Street Signals Correction Near End

Bitcoin is struggling to break above $70K as profit-taking caps rallies, even as Wall Street firms grow more bullish on equities amid signs the recent correction may be ending.
The S&P 500’s latest rebound has drawn a cautiously bullish response from major Wall Street firms, with Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan Chase both signaling confidence that the recent correction may be nearing its end.

Morgan Stanley strategist Michael Wilson said the market’s recovery from its recent lows — about 7% off the trough — was holding at critical technical support levels, suggesting downside momentum may have run its course.

Wilson pointed to stronger-than-expected earnings growth, now tracking at roughly 15% on current reports and projected to climb more than 20% on a forward basis, as proof that equities still rest on a sound fundamental base. His team advises clients to buy market dips, focusing on cyclical sectors and quality growth stocks while reducing exposure to energy, which he said may have peaked following its early-year rally.

JPMorgan also urged investors to treat pullbacks as buying opportunities. Strategist Mislav Matejka said conditions favor another V-shaped recovery over the next three to twelve months. 

Though volatility remains likely amid geopolitical uncertainty, Matejka sees investor sentiment and market positioning as overly bearish and expects fresh inflows to stabilize risk assets. JPMorgan projects stronger performance in international markets, emerging economies, small-cap equities, and value sectors as global growth stabilizes.

Bitcoin’s recent bounce above $70,000 is starting to look like more than a price bounce. An interesting on-chain analysis of on-chain data points to a change in how capital is moving across the market, with money that previously rotated into stablecoins beginning to edge back into Bitcoin.

That change is still small, but it is arriving as BTC recently reached an intraday high of $73,720 and as macro fears tied to the US-Iran conflict are changing.

The Defensive Phase Is Starting To Fade
Bitcoin’s market structure has been telling a story of restraint for many months. Capital moved to the sidelines, and stablecoins got bigger. Notably, the Bitcoin realized cap, a measure of the aggregate cost basis of all coins in circulation, plunged deep into negative territory, which is a sign that the market had absorbed significant unrealized losses.

This Bitcoin realized cap is the premise of the capital rotation setup, which was shared in a technical analysis by a crypto analyst that goes by the name Darkfost.

At the end of February, Bitcoin’s realized cap change fell to about negative $28.7 billion, which is one of the signs that capital tied to the cryptocurrency had moved into a deeply defensive posture. At the same time, stablecoin market capitalization grew by more than $6 billion, showing that investors were moving funds still in the crypto market instead of keeping that exposure in Bitcoin. According to the analyst, it was the first time this kind of rotation had appeared since the last bear-market phase.

However, the tide may be quietly changing, and the timing of that change has not gone unnoticed. Darkfost’s updated reading shows Bitcoin’s realized cap change recovering to about negative $3 billion, while stablecoin capitalization has fallen to around negative $1 billion.
