Bitcoin is pushing into a technically important area, with price tightening against resistance and a larger move in either direction looking increasingly likely. $BTC is trading around the $73,000–$74,000 range, showing a rough 5–6% short-term gain, signaling a steady recovery phase in the market. The setup looks constructive on the surface, but analysts who have navigated previous cycles know this is precisely where markets tend to be most deceptive.

Despite this consolidatory trend, the positive is that the XRP price has held support. While it has not yet broken out, the altcoin has maintained the $1.30-$1.33 support zone, keeping hopes of a breakout alive.

Notably, XRP has consolidated around the mid $1.30s for over two weeks now, building momentum for a breakout. For context, the longer a consolidation, the stronger the breakout. Now, with the broader market recovery and sentiments improving, it is only a matter of time before XRP breaks out.

The crucial point to watch is the 50-day moving average. XRP has faced rejection on the last two attempts to break above this dynamic resistance, peaking at around $1.395 on April 7 and 14.

Multiple retests weaken selling pressure, and if XRP keeps hitting this supply wall, a breakout could be imminent. Currently at $1.38, breaking above the 50-day MA with strong volume sets the pace for a rally to the next resistance stronghold around $1.46.

However, further market participation could help this course. Futures trading volume is down 2.67% in the past 24 hours, and XRP spot activities have dropped 7.38% in the same timeframe. XRP open interest has also dropped 4.43% in the past day, indicating slower spot and derivative traction towards the coin.

At present, the crypto market is in a calm state with quite bullish sentiment after Bitcoin ($BTC) surpassed a major market of $74,000 in the recent trading sessions. Steady inflows in Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that recorded hundreds of millions in weekly net purchases.

Currently, SHIB is approaching the channel’s lower support after a 2.83% drop on Tuesday. If bears continue to dominate proceedings, the price may fall to retest the support around $0.00000562. Losing this level could cause the meme coin to break down, targeting $0.00000523 first, then $0.0000050.

Bitcoin should prepare now, even if quantum is a 'lab experiment’: 
Blockstream CEO Adam Back, an early pioneer of the crypto movement, said Bitcoiners should be looking at building quantum-resistant solutions now, even if the threat is still decades away.

“Quantum computing still has a lot to prove. Current systems are essentially lab experiments. I’ve followed the field for over 25 years, and progress has been incremental,” Back said at Paris Blockchain Week on Tuesday.

Aave Price Surges 10% After Integration on Fireblocks

On Wednesday, the Aave price gained bullish sentiment and rallied, with a 8% spike following a major integration with the institutional platform Fireblocks and the passage of the “Aave Will Win” revenue proposal.

Fireblocks Integrates Aave into Earn Feature

On April 15, Fireblocks integrated Aave into its new Earn feature, which will allow institutions to earn returns on their idle stablecoins directly inside the Fireblocks platform without having to move funds somewhere else.

Institutions can now supply stablecoins into Aave lending markets straight from their secure Fireblocks wallet. Aave is one of the largest lending protocols in decentralized finance. It also handles a major share of stablecoin borrowing and lending. The interest rates on the decentralized exchange are automatically based on how much liquidity is available for supply and demand.

The new Earn feature also connects with Morpho for more enhanced lending strategies. It is now available in Early Access for more than 2,400 institutional clients that use Fireblocks. This gives banks and companies an easy and safe way to access on-chain lending while keeping Fireblocks strong security and control features.

Aave Founder Stani Kulechov shared his views on this partnership and said that it will help institutions reach deep and transparent liquidity without leaving their trusted platform.
