CHZ’s bullish investors and traders’ sentiment 

Data from the derivatives tool CoinGlass also suggests that market participants, both long-term and short-term holders, appear to be following the same bullish trend.

CHZ’s Spot Inflow/Outflow metrics reveal that, over the past five days, long-term holders have continued to withdraw tokens from exchanges. Additionally, over the past 48 hours, exchanges have recorded an outflow of $175K worth of tokens, hinting at potential accumulation.

On the other hand, the Exchange Liquidation Map shows that intraday traders are heavily betting on $0.0408 on the lower side and $0.0442 on the upper side.

At these levels, they have built approximately $1.14 million worth of long-leveraged positions and $525K worth of short-leveraged positions, indicating that traders are anticipating further price upside.

United Arab Emirates investors are leaning into the artificial intelligence sell-off rather than running from it, despite the regional conflict testing the Gulf’s ambitions to become a global hub for AI and digital assets.

New eToro data shared with Cointelegraph on Wednesday show users in the UAE boosted holdings of software and AI infrastructure names whose share prices fell sharply in the first quarter, suggesting they used the downturn to “buy the dip” rather than broadly de-risk.

The pattern suggests UAE investors are staying exposed to long-term AI and digital-infrastructure themes even as the conflict raises fresh risks for data centers, logistics and cross-border technology build-outs in the Gulf. An April 13 report from Deutsche Bank said the shock is more likely to sharpen rather than derail demand for AI, cybersecurity and sovereign digital infrastructure in the region.

Josh Gilbert, market analyst at eToro, told Cointelegraph that UAE investors became more selective over where they took risk in Q1, and investor behavior was driven by long-term themes rather than a risk-off mindset.

He said the clearest signal was across AI infrastructure and software names, pointing to ServiceNow (+125%), Super Micro Computer (+65%), Adobe (+54%) and Oracle (+38%), which all saw significant increases despite market pressure.

On the crypto side, he said that Strategy Inc. remained the eighth-most-held stock, indicating continued exposure to crypto-linked equities.

Japan's Institutional Crypto Sentiment Hits New Highs in 2026



Nomura Holdings and its digital asset subsidiary Laser Digital have published their 2026 Institutional Investor Survey on Digital Asset Investment Trends, revealing a measurable shift in how Japanese institutional investors view crypto assets.

The survey, released on April 16, captures responses from 518 investment professionals across institutional investors, family offices, and public-interest organizations in Japan.

The findings point to growing confidence in digital assets as a legitimate portfolio component, with sentiment improving across nearly every metric compared to the previous survey conducted in June 2024.

Positive Sentiment on the Rise

31% of respondents described their outlook on crypto assets over the next year as positive — up 6 percentage points from 25% in the 2024 survey. At the same time, the share of respondents holding a negative view fell to 18%, down 5 points from 23%. The remaining 51% maintained a neutral stance.

The survey also found a strong correlation between knowledge and optimism: 58% of respondents who self-identified as having high crypto knowledge held a positive view, suggesting that deeper familiarity with the asset class tends to improve perception.

Diversification Remains the Top Driver

65% of respondents said they view crypto assets as an opportunity to diversify their portfolios alongside traditional holdings like cash, stocks, bonds, and commodities — up 3 percentage points from 62% in 2024.

Diversification was cited as the primary reason for planned crypto investment, with respondents also highlighting crypto's low correlation with other asset classes.
