Analyst Issues Bullish Warning for Bitcoin (BTC)! "Expect This Level Within One or Two Months!"

The leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin ($BTC), is trading around $74,600 after a strong week.

Analysts say the rally has stalled ahead of the expiration of the two-week ceasefire agreement between the US and Iran next week.

However, one analyst predicts that Bitcoin could rise to $125,000 in the coming months.

Speaking to Coindesk, ZeroStack CEO Daniel Reis-Faria stated that perpetual interest rates on Bitcoin are extremely negative, which could trigger a significant price increase.

Noting that Bitcoin's perpetual term funding rates are quite negative, the analyst said, "this indicates that investors are heavily shorting, expecting a decline."

According to the analyst, this increases the likelihood of a sharp short squeeze that could push the Bitcoin price towards $125,000 in the coming months.

According to AXIOS, citing two U.S. officials and additional sources familiar with the talks, the United States and Iran are currently discussing a three-page framework aimed at de-escalating tensions and addressing nuclear concerns.
A key element under consideration is a proposal that would see the U.S. unfreeze approximately $20 billion in Iranian assets in exchange for Iran giving up its stockpile of enriched uranium. The idea has been informally described by some officials as a “cash for uranium” arrangement, though it remains only one of several options on the table.
Earlier in the negotiations, the U.S. reportedly floated a figure of around $6 billion for humanitarian-related purposes, while Iran initially demanded as much as $27 billion. The current $20 billion figure is seen as a potential middle ground in ongoing discussions.
One U.S. official clarified that the proposal reflects the U.S. negotiating position, while another emphasized that the “cash for uranium” concept is still part of broader exploratory talks and not a finalized agreement.
On the nuclear issue itself, Washington is reportedly insisting that Iran transfer all enriched nuclear material to the United States. Tehran, however, has only agreed to a process of “domestic dilution” under international supervision.
A possible compromise under discussion would involve sending some highly enriched uranium to a third country (not necessarily the U.S.), while the remainder would be diluted inside Iran under monitored conditions.
Overall, the talks highlight both the complexity and the cautious progress of negotiations, with both sides still far apart but exploring potential pathways to reduce escalation and stabilize the situation.

Recent concerns about advancements in quantum technology have become a significant and widely debated topic in the cryptocurrency market.

While many are expressing their opinions on quantum risk at this point, the founder of Cardano issued a warning regarding Bitcoin.

Cardano (ADA) founder Charles Hoskinson warned that the proposed Bitcoin upgrade could lead to 1.7 million $BTC being frozen.

Speaking to Coindesk, Hoskinson argued that the BIP-361 proposal, which aims to protect Bitcoin against quantum computing, has been incorrectly classified as a soft fork, and that this classification is wrong.

Hoskinson claimed that if this proposal were implemented, approximately 1.7 million $BTC created before 2013, including the 1 million $BTC held by anonymous Bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto, would be permanently frozen.

The renowned founder stated that it would be impossible to transfer these 1.7 million early-issued coins because their owners lacked the means to provide proof, as these coins were issued before the introduction of seed phrases.

“Because the first Bitcoins were created before the seed syntax was introduced, proving ownership is difficult and therefore transferring ownership is impossible.”

He accused Bitcoin developers of unscrupulously imposing a hard fork by misleadingly labeling BIP-361 as a soft fork.
