Bitcoin price is trading around $73,910, marking a gain of more than 4% over the past 24 hours, while Ethereum has surged over 7.5% to trade near $2,265. The bullish momentum has also lifted major altcoins, with BNB climbing above $680, Solana approaching $94, while Dogecoin and Cardano have reclaimed $0.01 and $0.28, respectively.

The global crypto market capitalization has climbed past $2.5 trillion, while 24-hour trading volume jumped sharply from $56 billion to $91 billion, highlighting a surge in market activity and growing investor participation.
Among the top performers, LayerZero leads the market with a gain of over 11.8%, trading around $2.80. It is followed by Zcash and Pepe, both rising more than 8%. Other notable gainers include PancakeSwap, Ethereum, Bonk, and River, each posting gains of over 7%.

On the downside, DeXe emerged as the biggest loser, declining over 7.1%, followed by Memecore and Kite, which slipped more than 2.2% each. Meanwhile, social sentiment appears to be improving for Pi Network and the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance, while interest in Tron, Chainlink, and Bittensor is also gradually strengthening.

President Donald Trump unleashed a lengthy tirade against the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday, calling it a “weaponized and unjust Political Organization” after its February ruling struck down his emergency tariffs.

The attack came alongside a separate plea for international military support at the Strait of Hormuz, a request that has so far gone unanswered by every named ally.

The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 in Learning Resources Inc. v. Trump on February 20 that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) does not authorize the president to impose tariffs.

Justices Alito, Thomas, and Kavanaugh dissented. Trump praised the three dissenters for their “Wisdom and Courage” while accusing Republican-appointed justices in the majority of going out of their way to prove their independence.

He also targeted Judge James Boasberg, alleging “extreme partisan bias” in cases involving the Federal Reserve and the Trump administration.

Hours after the original ruling, Trump pivoted to Section 122 of the Trade Act of 194, imposing temporary 10% global tariffs, later raised to 15%. Those tariffs expire after 150 days unless Congress extends them.

Short-term performance supports this view, with Dogecoin also posting gains over the past week and two weeks. In simple terms, the chart now reflects a market that is no longer drifting aimlessly. Dogecoin is regaining momentum, and traders are watching to see whether this push above $0.10 develops into a stronger breakout.

Can Dogecoin Break Further Resistance?

Dogecoin’s weekly chart reveals a modest recovery taking shape, but the price is now moving into an important resistance area. $DOGE is trading near $0.1023, which keeps it above the lower Bollinger Band at $0.0741 and extends its rebound from the recent weakness.

That stabilization matters because it suggests sellers are no longer fully in control after the long slide. Even so, the next major test sits at the Bollinger Band basis near $0.1237, which often acts as a mean-reversion resistance zone during corrective rebounds.

Further, the Balance of Power indicator strengthens the short-term recovery case. With the reading at 0.88, buyers currently hold the upper hand. This shows that bulls are exerting stronger pressure than bears on this timeframe. The positive shift suggests momentum is improving as Dogecoin pushes toward weekly resistance.

Still, momentum alone is not enough to confirm a larger breakout. If $DOGE clears the $0.1237 area, the move will open the door to a stronger recovery toward the upper Bollinger Band near $0.1733.

Altcoin market cap crossed $1.01 trillion as investors began rotating capital from Bitcoin into alternative cryptocurrencies.

XRP, Doge, ADA, Polkadot and Pepe gained between 4% and 20% in the past 24 hours.

Analyst Michaël van de Poppe predicts altcoins could rally 20% to 40% if Bitcoin dominance drops below 55%.

The crypto market started Monday on a bullish note, with altcoins showing early signs of a rally. The total altcoin market cap climbed to $1.01 trillion after weeks of sideways movement. Top altcoins like XRP, DOGE, ADA, and DOT rose 4–8%, while PEPE surged 20%.
Meanwhile, Crypto analyst Michael van de Poppe believes altcoins will rally 20 to 40%, once capital begins to rotate.

The Altcoin Season Index, which tracks how many of the top 100 cryptocurrencies outperform Bitcoin, has climbed to 49, its highest level since January 9.

Despite this rise, Bitcoin still dominates the market. It recently traded around $73,663, supported by strong institutional inflows. At the same time, Bitcoin dominance stands near 59.76%, showing it still controls most of the crypto market.

However, crypto analyst Michaël van de Poppe believes a real altcoin rally may only begin if Bitcoin dominance drops below 55%, allowing smaller tokens to gain more market share.

Several large-cap altcoins saw clear gains in the last 24 hours, showing that traders began rotating profits into alternative cryptocurrencies after Bitcoin’s recent rally.

Ethereum rose about 7.5%, higher than Bitcoin’s 3.1% gain. Other major coins like XRP, Solana, Cardano, and Polkadot also climbed 4% to 9% during the same time.

Memecoins performed even stronger. Pepe jumped nearly 20%, while Bonk, Shiba Inu, and Pudgy Penguins (PENGU) all posted double-digit gains.
