OFFICIAL $TRUMP surged 33% this past week, directly benefiting from easing geopolitical tensions tied to US President Donald Trump’s diplomatic signals. The meme coin’s strong sensitivity to political developments makes it one of the market’s most reactive assets. This week’s rally reflects how quickly sentiment can shift around politically linked tokens.

$TRUMP is trading at $3.95, holding above the $3.90 support level with the 20-day EMA providing additional structural backing. This confluence of support creates a solid technical base. A bounce off $3.90 combined with sustained buying pressure could push $TRUMP past the $4.27 resistance toward the $4.49 target.

Michael Saylor Warns Quantum Threat Would Break the Internet

Michael Saylor countered venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya, warning that the threat of quantum computing is not just a "Bitcoin problem." In fact, according to Saylor, it poses an existential risk to the entire modern world.

Saylor argued that if quantum computers ever become powerful enough to crack the encryption securing Bitcoin, they will simultaneously dismantle every major pillar of the global economy, including banks, cloud providers, and the internet itself.

The conversation began when Palihapitiya shared a provocative thesis titled "The Collapse of Terminal Value." He argued that AI is lowering the cost of disruption so rapidly that no company can credibly project cash flows beyond a five-year window.

In this scenario, corporate "moats" disappear, and equity markets could face a catastrophic 75% drawdown.

Saylor, never one to miss a Bitcoin bull case, responded that this "disruption risk" is precisely why capital will rotate into Bitcoin. He described BTC as "Digital Capital" that is scarce, neutral, and uniquely impervious to the AI-driven obsolescence threatening traditional companies.

Palihapitiya pushed back, noting that for Bitcoin to be the ultimate safe haven, it would first need to survive the "Quantum Threat." "Your AI thesis assumes the digital world is quantum-resistant. Bitcoin Price Prediction: Is Explosive Rally Coming?

BTC is sitting at $73,500 pressing right up against the upper trendline of a rising wedge. And this is the exact level that rejected price every single time it got here over the past 6 weeks.

That history is why the market is so split right now. A lot of traders are looking at this pump and doing exactly what worked the last 3 or 4 times. They are shorting the rejection, expecting the same outcome, expecting price to bleed back toward $64,000 or lower.

But that is actually what makes this moment more dangerous for the bears than it looks. When everyone is positioned the same way and price does not roll over, the unwind gets violent.

The short squeeze setup that was building last week with negative funding rates has not gone away. Actually, it has just gotten more loaded with every failed breakdown attempt.

A clean break and hold above this upper channel trendline and $75,000 would be the trigger that forces those shorts to close in a hurry, and closing a short means buying, which pushes price higher, which forces more shorts to close.

If that rally continues, $80,000 is the first real target, then $84,000, and the full $90,000 level as the target.

$64,000 and $60,000 are both clearly marked as the floors if this rejection plays out like the previous ones.
