Ethereum (ETH) has recently faced renewed selling pressure, slipping from the $2,330 area and breaking below key levels at $2,220 and $2,200. The price even touched a low near $2,176 before entering a consolidation phase.
From a technical perspective, ETH has lost its short-term bullish structure after breaking below its intraday ascending trendline and trading under the 100-hour simple moving average. This signals weakening momentum in the near term.
Currently, Ethereum is trying to stabilize above the $2,175 zone, where buyers are attempting to defend support and prevent further downside.
On the upside, immediate resistance is seen near $2,210, followed by $2,235. The key level to watch remains $2,250 — a decisive break above this zone could reopen bullish momentum and push ETH toward $2,290, and potentially $2,320–$2,350.
However, if ETH fails to hold $2,175, the next downside targets lie at $2,140 and $2,110, with deeper support around $2,060 if selling pressure intensifies.
Overall, Ethereum is currently in a consolidation phase after a sharp pullback, with both bulls and bears waiting for a clear breakout direction. The $2,175 level will likely play a crucial role in determining the next move.

While Bitcoin has been consolidating in a narrow range for weeks, the fact that volatility has fallen to its lowest levels during the correction period signals that a strong breakout is approaching in the market. Van de Poppe predicted three different scenarios for the coming weeks, arguing that the ultimate target in all scenarios is the $80,000 level.

The first scenario suggests that Bitcoin could break above its current range and reach $80,000 directly. According to the analyst, the $74,000 resistance level has been tested three times, weakening with each test. The RSI indicator being at 40 indicates neither strong buying nor excessive selling pressure in the market, while investor sentiment is at historically low levels. Van de Poppe also notes that with the increase in geopolitical tensions centered on Iran, Bitcoin is increasingly behaving as a “safe haven” asset. The probability of this scenario occurring is estimated at 35%.

According to the second and most likely scenario, Bitcoin may experience a brief pullback to the $64,000–$66,000 range before the rally. The analyst notes that there are many long positions in this region, and the triggering of stop-loss orders could provide a new influx of liquidity into the market. Van de Poppe states that after such a “liquidity sweep,” selling pressure would decrease, and the price could move upwards more healthily. He also recalls a similar pattern seen in February, which showed a rapid recovery after a break to the downside. This scenario has a 45% probability, making it the most likely scenario.

Bitcoin climbed back to $74,000 on Monday to blunt its year-to-date losses. But even with the rebound, the token sits roughly 15% lower for the year as the crypto market struggles to recapture the upside momentum seen earlier this spring.

X’s product head Nikita Bier said the platform might “launch something to fix it.”

X Money to open early public access this month

It’s unclear what “something” refers to, as Bier did not provide any further details. There is speculation that it may be tied to X Money, a payments service integrated into X to support peer-to-peer transfers, digital wallets, and extensive financial tools.

Elon Musk has confirmed that early access to X Money is coming this month after completing internal testing and an external beta.

Comparable to Venmo or PayPal, the service is expected to support Musk’s goal of developing X into an everything app. It includes payments, cards, and account management features.

Crypto integration is not currently included. However, former CEO Linda Yaccarino previously said that X planned to introduce investment and trading features as part of a push to turn the platform into a combined financial and social ecosystem. That suggests digital assets may be considered in future updates.
