From a technical standpoint, Bitcoin’s [BTC] 10% move so far could just be the early leg of a setup similar to 2025, where Q2 closed with 30% gains. If we get a repeat of that structure, BTC could still be on track to finish Q2 somewhere in the $85k–$90k range. In that case, the $65k–$70k zone would likely stand out as a local bottom for this cycle. 

The key question now is whether on-chain signals support that range as a potential local bottom. At the macro level, BTC started the week by breaking below the $75k level as uncertainty around the Strait of Hormuz picks up again, adding pressure to the “bottom is in” narrative. That pressure is now starting to show up in on-chain metrics as well.

U.S. crypto adoption is rebounding, bitcoin still dominates, Deutsche Bank saysCrypto adoption in the U.S. has staged a comeback, even as sentiment around prices remains cautious, according to German lender Deutsche Bank (DB).

In a new retail survey spanning 3,400 consumers across the U.S., U.K. and EU, the bank said U.S. participation rebounded to 12% in March from a February low of 7%, returning to levels last seen in July 2025. The report's data suggested adoption has not topped 14% in the survey's history, dating back to 2023.

Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw a resurgence in March, attracting roughly $1.3 billion in net inflows, the report said, signaling renewed institutional demand after a weak start to the year.
"After steadily declining since July 2025, U.S. crypto adoption rates recovered in March," wrote analysts Marion Laboure and Camilla Siazon in the Monday report.

Crypto prices have shown signs of stabilization after a volatile start to 2026, with last month marking a tentative rebound driven by renewed institutional demand and geopolitical tailwinds.

Bitcoin rose roughly 9% in March, recovering toward the $70,000 level after earlier declines, though it remains down more than 20% year-to-date and well below its late-2025 peak above $120,000. More recently, prices have pushed higher into the mid-$70,000s, briefly topping $77,000 amid easing geopolitical tensions and improving risk sentiment.

Strategy has purchased another 34,164 BTC for approximately $2.54 billion at an average price of $74,395 per bitcoin, bringing its total holdings to 815,061 BTC.

The latest acquisitions were funded by proceeds from the issuance and sale of the company’s Class A common stock, MSTR, and perpetual preferred stock, STRC.
Bitcoin treasury company Strategy acquired an additional 34,164 BTC for approximately $2.54 billion at an average price of $74,395 per bitcoin between April 13 and April 19, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday — its largest weekly acquisition since November 2024.

Strategy now holds a total of 815,061 BTC — worth around $61.2 billion — bought at an average price of $75,527 per bitcoin for a total cost of around $61.6 billion, including fees and expenses, according to the company's co-founder and executive chairman, Michael Saylor.

Measured against bitcoin’s fixed supply, the holdings amount to over 3.8% of the eventual 21 million total, leaving the position about $400 million underwater at current prices.

The latest acquisitions were made using proceeds from at-the-market sales of its Class A common stock, MSTR, and perpetual Stretch preferred stock, STRC. Last week, Strategy sold 2,165,000 MSTR shares for approximately $366 million. As of April 19, $26.7 billion worth of MSTR shares remain available for issuance and sale under that program, the firm said. Strategy also sold 21,795,389 STRC shares for approximately $2.18 billion, with $19.46 billion worth of STRC shares remaining available for issuance and sale under that program.
