The Solana network has integrated XRP, according to a Friday announcement.

The integration bridges the gap between two of the cryptocurrency industry's most prominent ecosystems.

According to an announcement from the official Solana X account on April 17, 2026, the highly anticipated integration is now fully live, injecting fresh cross-chain liquidity into the network's decentralized finance (DeFi) space.

The asset has been launched as a wrapped token, designated as wXRP.

​Long-Term Holder Losses Equivalent to 14% of Market Cap
On-chain analytics firm Glassnode pointed out in a recent post on X that the unrealized losses of Bitcoin Long-Term Holders (LTHs) have continued to climb. LTHs are defined as investors who have held their Bitcoin for more than 155 days and are generally considered the market's "HODLers."
​Since the fourth quarter of 2025, Bitcoin has faced significant declines alongside the broader crypto market, directly impacting this steadfast group. The "Unrealized Loss" metric measures the total loss currently held by investors whose purchase price was higher than the current spot price.
​Relative Unrealized Loss Trends
To better understand the magnitude, analysts look at the Relative Unrealized Loss, which expresses these losses as a percentage of the total Bitcoin market capitalization.
​Current Status: The 30-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) of this indicator has risen to 14%. This means the "Diamond Hands" of the market are currently holding losses equal to 14% of Bitcoin’s total value—the highest level seen since 2023.
​Historical Context: While 14% is significant, historical data shows that bear market bottoms typically see much higher pain levels. In previous cycles, this metric peaked at approximately 70% during the absolute market floor.
​The Bottom Line
While it is uncertain if this cycle requires the same level of capitulation, the fact that relative losses remain significantly below historical "bottom" levels suggests that the market may not have reached a point of maximum exhaustion yet.
​Current Price Action
Following the latest rebound, Bitcoin has climbed back above the $72,000 level.

Goldman Sachs, the $3.6 trillion asset management firm, finally filed a Bitcoin exchange-traded fund. Unlike BlackRock's spot Bitcoin ETF, which is officially the largest crypto ETF on the market, Goldman's product has a unique twist.

Namely, the fund rarely touches any actual Bitcoin.
