Spot Bitcoin ETFs attract nearly $1B in weekly inflows as risk sentiment improves

Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded nearly $1 billion in net inflows over the past week, marking their strongest performance in more than three months as market sentiment shifts toward risk assets.

Data from SoSoValue shows that spot Bitcoin ($BTC) ETFs attracted $996 muillion in total net inflows last week, the highest weekly intake since early January, when inflows reached about $1.4 billion.

Friday saw $663.9 million in inflows, the strongest single-day performance of the week. Earlier gains included $411.5 million on Tuesday and $186 million on Wednesday, followed by a more modest $26 million on Thursday. The period began with a $291 million outflow on Monday.

Total net assets across spot Bitcoin ETFs climbed above $101 billion by Friday, alongside a sharp increase in trading activity, with daily volumes nearing $4.8 billion.

The options overwrite level will range from 40% to 100% of exposure depending on market conditions, capping some upside during rallies in exchange for steady income paid to shareholders. Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas described the product as “boomer candy,” noting that Goldman could leapfrog BlackRock’s competing BITA fund by leveraging its distribution network and institutional client relationships. The Goldman Sachs Bitcoin Premium Income ETF, filed under the Goldman Sachs ETF Trust as a post-effective amendment, would not hold bitcoin directly. It routes exposure through spot bitcoin ETPs and then generates monthly income by selling call options against that position. The fund does not hold bitcoin itself. Its performance depends on the underlying spot ETP prices and the premium income generated by the options strategy, which caps gains in strong rallies. A large-scale transfer by wallet 0x524, related to Ondo Finance, saw almost 20 million $ONDO tokens divided between two separate addresses. The first move directed 15 million tokens, equating to $3.95 million, into a multi-signature wallet, hinting at enhanced security measures for major holdings.

Following this, another 4.9 million $ONDO, worth $1.29 million, were sent to a wallet linked to a longstanding associate. Analyst Nazoku suggests this could signal a potential sell-off. Such significant transfers can prompt market reactions, especially when initiated from core team-associated wallets.

Are Whales Holding Onto $ONDO?

In contrast, separate whale movements signal long-term interest. Two significant wallets shifted a total of 2.84 million $ONDO from Coinbase Hot Wallets to Coinbase Custody, suggesting long-term holding strategies rather than immediate selling. This reversal implies confidence in the future potential of $ONDO.

Wallet 0x807 secured 1.7 million $ONDO, valued at $458,000, while 0x61d moved 1.14 million $ONDO, worth around $314,400. Reports indicate they intend to hold unless a substantial price increase occurs.

These dynamics highlight a divide between immediate profit-seeking insiders and patient investors waiting for a larger payoff, reflecting varied risk appetites within the market.

Uniswap Price Dips as Weak Flows and Bearish Trend Persist

Uniswap price fell below $3.40 after an early rebound faded.

Technical analysis shows $UNI price still trading in a downtrend despite short-lived rebounds.

During today’s Asian trading session, Uniswap’s price opened at $3.49. This price did not hold for long, as a dip followed, reducing the weekly gains. This movement has raised questions about the potential price targets that will follow next.

Uniswap Price Slips to $3.39

According to CoinMarketCap data at the time of press, Uniswap price traded at $3.39, recording a 1.1% decline over the past 24 hours. Price started near the $3.44 area and slipped briefly before recovering into a stronger upward stretch. That rebound carried $UNI above $3.50 and later pushed it toward the session high near $3.57.

After reaching that peak, the upward move lost strength, and the Uniswap-3.13% price began to ease lower. $UNI then moved through a gradual decline, with repeated lower highs forming across the middle part of the session. The price later settled around the $3.45 zone and traded in a tighter range for several hours.

That stability did not hold into the final stretch. $UNI fell again and moved below the earlier consolidation band, ending near the session’s lower area. The latest decline pulled the price under $3.40 as weakness returned late in the period. Market capitalization stood at $2.16 billion, while 24-hour volume reached $248.72 million. Uniswap price recorded an early rebound, a mid-session fade, and a sharper late pullback.

Impact on holders’ revenue and TVL

Aerodrome Finance is built and fully operates on a single chain, which is Base. However, the team announced they would be launching a cross-chain decentralized exchange (DEX) in July, which is expected to improve revenue among other metrics.

Even as it operates on a single chain, the platform led in terms of holders’ revenue over the past month.

Aerodrome brought in $7.4 million a month for its holders, according to DefiLlama. This was more than double that of Uniswap [UNI], which operates on 43 chains with a reading of $3.3 million.

Hyperliquid [HYPE], which also operates on a single chain, followed $AERO with $1.37 million. PancakeSwap [CAKE], which is built on BNB Chain but accommodates about 10 chains, and Pharaoh Exchange and Raydium [RAY] made it into the list of top 6.

Such a move to upgrade the platform to a multichain DEX is set to expand holder revenue as the user base increases.

Moreover, the Total Value Locked (TVL) on Base Chain may continue growing more rapidly with this launch. Currently, the TVL is approaching $5 billion since launch.
