"Following this acquisition, Strategy has witnessed its holdings cross the 780,000 BTC milestone. Also, its total investment is approaching the $60 billion mark, with its current value sitting at $59.02 billion. According to the filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Strategy made the new purchase between April 6th and 12th and funded it using sales of its STRC at-the-market (ATM) stock offering.

Scaramucci says SpaceX is a proof companies now view Bitcoin as a strategic reserve asset

SpaceX is holding onto 8,285 bitcoins valued at $603 million even as the company reported a nearly $5 billion loss for 2025, new data shows.

The aerospace firm keeps its digital currency in Coinbase Prime custody and has not sold any despite the financial hit, according to the data from Arkham Intelligence and The Information report published Friday. The loss is a complete turnaround from the previous year when SpaceX made about $8 billion in profit on sales between $15 billion and $16 billion.

The company’s bitcoin balance stayed steady since the middle of 2024 after hitting a peak value above $1.6 billion during October 2025 when bitcoin reached record highs. SpaceX now ranks as the fourth-biggest known corporate bitcoin owner, trailing only Strategy, Marathon Digital, and Riot Platforms.

SpaceX filed for an initial public offering last month that will require the company to reveal its bitcoin holdings in public documents for the first time. This could force the company to make accounting choices under new FASB rules that started in late 2025.

SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci said the mov e shows how companies will treat bitcoin going forward. “Everyone will soon have Bitcoin on their corporate balance sheet,” he said, calling SpaceX the ultimate example of keeping bitcoin as a company reserve asset.

Crypto.com, the exchange partnered with Trump Media and Technology Group, the company behind US President Donald Trump’s media company Truth Social, announced it will be giving away bonuses at an event at the White House.

Accordingly, the cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com announced that it will distribute $1 million worth of $CRO tokens as a bonus to fighters at the UFC Freedom 250 event, which it will co-host at the White House on June 14, 2026.

This is the largest bonus amount in UFC history, and it will be distributed as part of Crypto.com’s 10th anniversary celebrations.

This event also coincides with the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States and the 10th anniversary of Crypto.com.

UFC CEO Dana White stated, “This is the most historic sporting event in history, and every fight has the potential to be Fight of the Night. Crypto.com is giving the fighters the biggest bonus in UFC history; a total of $1 million in prize money. The whole world will be watching tonight, June 14th.”

Kris Marszalek, co-founder and CEO of Crypto.com, stated, “I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate Crypto.com’s 10th anniversary than by making history at the White House. We are honored to join our long-standing partners in the UFC and to be a co-presenting partner of Freedom 250, an event that transcends the sport.”

Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Ripple ($XRP) are all trading in the red as the broader crypto market feels the pressure of the US-Iran conflict.

Bitcoin’s price has slipped below $71,000, while Ether and $XRP are trading below $2,200 and $1.35, respectively.

Solana’s $SOL is also underperforming and could face further selling pressure in the near term. The coin is trading at $81 on Monday, after a 4% decline on Sunday, which aligned with the broader cryptocurrency market correction.

At the moment, Solana remains on a downside trajectory after reversing from an overhead trendline, while institutional demand whipsaws and retail interest declines. Momentum indicators also suggest that sellers are in control, with a possible correction to the $77 support level on the cards.

ETF outflows add selling pressure to Solana

Solana has been underperforming since Tuesday after failing to overcome the $88 swing high level. It lost 4% of its value on Sunday and has continued its poor performance into Monday.

Similar to other leading cryptocurrencies, $SOL is facing mixed-to-slightly bearish reactions in the institutional and derivatives markets amid the US-Iran blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.

Data obtained from CoinGlass revealed that the Solana Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) recorded [MONEY value="11450000" currency="usd" notation="long" replace="false"] in inflows on Friday, limiting the weekly outflow to [MONEY value="5620000" currency="usd" notation="long" replace="false"]. Friday’s inflow suggests that institutions remain interested in Solana but also marks the third consecutive weekly outflow.
