New Details Emerge Regarding the Regulation of Cryptocurrencies in Turkey

Dr. Ömer İleri, Deputy Chairman of the AK Party and Head of Information and Communication Technologies, made statements regarding the ongoing legal regulatory efforts concerning crypto assets.

İleri stated that it is a natural process for efforts to establish a legal framework for crypto assets and similar emerging fields to come to the public’s attention.

İleri, in his assessment of the issue, stated, “It is a natural and correct process for legal regulations to be developed regarding crypto assets and similar newly emerging fields, and for these studies to be brought to the public’s attention in various aspects. We, both as a party and as a government, always closely follow the opinions and sensitivities that come to the agenda.”

Stating that Turkey’s goal of being a pioneer in new technology fields continues, İleri noted that the work in these areas will continue within the scope of the “Turkey Century” vision led by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, saying, “Under the leadership of our President, our ambition to be a pioneer in newly developing technology fields in line with the ‘Türkiye Century’ vision will continue.”

In a previous statement, İleri had shared details of the draft law on the taxation of crypto assets being discussed in the Planning and Budget Committee. According to this, a transaction tax of three per ten thousand is planned to be levied on the purchase, sale, and transfer of crypto assets conducted through platforms regulated by the Capital Markets Board (SPK).

It was stated that this tax would be the final tax and that no additional taxes would be applied, and that cryptocurrency transactions would also be exempt from Value Added Tax (VAT).

Analyst Says Bitcoin is Back in Bulls’ Hands: So What Happens Next?

The leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin (BTC), has experienced a significant recovery in recent days after suffering sharp declines since October.

With Bitcoin rising from around $67,000 to over $73,000, bullish sentiment has also begun to increase.

At this point, some analysts are warning that the recent rise is a bull trap, while others argue that the bear market is over.

CryptoReviewing, the pseudonymous co-founder of the cryptocurrency trading platform Wealth Capital, stated that the recent surge has completely changed the scenario for Bitcoin.

“The bulls have regained control,” the analyst said, adding, “The bears have been completely eliminated.”

According to the analyst, there is a significant liquidity zone between $73,000 and $75,000 that could potentially trigger further upside.

However, there is approximately four times more liquidity accumulated in the $65,000 – $71,000 range. This increases the likelihood that $65,000 will be the next area tested in terms of liquidity.

Keith Alan, co-founder of Material Indicators, shared similar views.

Accordingly, Keith Alan also stated that a lasting and reliable trend change in Bitcoin requires a healthy consolidation phase.

At this point, Alan argued that the next support level, $65,000, should be tested.

“It would be healthy to test the support level as soon as possible, but I’m not sure how long it will take the market to do so.”

However the test of this support unfolds, I think the longer the gradual rise takes, the more likely the rally is to be.”

Despite the recent rise, Alan argued that bearish signals still persist and that a decline would be healthier.

Market Analysts See Mega XRP Accumulation Driving $6–$10 Price Rocket
Ripple’s XRP traded sideways on Friday, balancing market hesitation with mounting crypto bullish pressure.

Notably, over the past week, the world’s fifth-largest cryptocurrency declined by roughly 1%, indicating sideways price action as traders await clearer directional cues.

Despite the subdued price movement, several analysts point to signs of accumulation that could set the stage for a major bull run.

According to analyst XForceGlobal, a popular Elliot Wave Pattern analyst, XRP prices could surge to between $6 and $10 in the near term.

“XRP, it’s all coming together… 1. Retest ATH 2. Retrace the entire range 3. $4, $5, $10+, next…?” he noted in an analysis this week. 

Notably, this perspective underscores the idea that XRP’s recent consolidation could be laying the groundwork for renewed upward momentum, potentially leading to multi-level gains over the coming months.

Furthermore, analyst Javon Marks suggested that XRP’s breakout from a symmetrical triangle breakout in late 2024 could signal massive upside potential.

“XRP’s measured move target above $15 goes unchanged! The breakout that took place in late 2024 hints at another 10X (>900% increase) being possible to those price levels,” he said.

Additionally, popular analyst Ali Charts offered a more conservative technical perspective, highlighting potential support levels.

“XRP could find support along the triangle’s hypotenuse between $0.90 and $0.60,” the analyst stated.
This view suggests that even if short-term volatility emerges, XRP has a solid technical floor that could protect it from a severe downturn, giving investors confidence to hold or accumulate further.

Moreover, according to analyst Chartnerd, the big XRP question is whether the upcoming backtest of the 200-week exponential moving average (WEMA) will reveal.....
