Proposal #1043 requests 202,320 USDC to fund Hypha Worker Co-operative for one year of work on the Cosmos Hub public testnet from August 1, 2026 to July 31, 2027.

The proposal does not include Gaia development, QA, incident response, mainnet coordination, or upgrade monitoring. These responsibilities are moving to Cosmos Labs.

WHAT THIS MEANS
The public testnet is the training ground for Cosmos Hub. Validators can test upgrades, identify operational risks, and prepare for changes before they reach mainnet.
Hypha has supported Cosmos Hub since 2022 and already has the required experience, infrastructure, and validator relationships.

✅ I VOTED YES
Funding the public testnet reduces mainnet risk and improves validator readiness. The budget is transparent, the term is limited to one year, and unspent funds must be returned if the work is suspended.
CONCLUSION
202,320 USDC is a reasonable cost for improving the stability, readiness, and operational safety of Cosmos Hub. Saving money on testnet infrastructure can create far more expensive problems on mainnet.
