Groq raised $650 million to expand its inference cloud business six months after licensing its semiconductor technology to Nvidia and losing its founder.

The funding round was led by Disruptive and Infinitum. Groq's press announcement said existing investors also participated.

The company did not disclose a new valuation. Groq was valued at $6.9 billion after its September $750 million fundraising round.

Groq pivots to cloud infrastructure after Nvidia deal December 2025, Nvidia signed a non-exclusive licensing agreement for Groq's language processing unit (LPU) technology, a chip designed specifically for running Al models.

As part of that arrangement, Nvidia hired away Groq co-founder and CEO Jonathan Ross, president Sunny Madra, and other staff.

Nvidia went on to unveil its own hardware system built on the licensed technology, the LPX inference platform, at its GTC conference in March.

Groq has repositioned around its cloud infrastructure business. The company runs 13 data centers spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, serving over five million developers and processing trillions of Al tokens per week, per its press release.

Official Trump (TRUMP) opens the week as one of the most volatile names to watch. The token jumped more than 5% in 24 hours, yet its setup pulls in two directions at once.

On-chain positioning leans bullish. Smart money holds a net long of $627,000 in Hyperliquid perps, a sign of an imminent price rise.

Spot exchanges saw $681,000 in outflows, a sign of accumulation. The funding rate, the recurring fee between long and short traders, sits at a negative near 24% annualized. That means shorts are paying longs.

Fresh wallet inflows of $559,000 point to new buyers stepping in. Since smart money is already long, the funding pays the bulls to keep holding, reinforcing the tilt.

TRUMP Positioning Overview: Nansen Data

The chart, however, tells a different story. TRUMP, the Solana-specific meme coin, has traded inside a falling channel since mid-March, a steadily lower price range.

It tried to break $2.20 on June 13 and failed. Volume spiked into that attempt, then faded, leaving no sustained buyers. The same burst-and-fade is repeating now. So the bullish positioning clashes with a bearish structure, a classic sentiment trap.

TRUMP Price Analysis: TradingView

That tension is exactly why TRUMP is one of the top meme coins to watch this week. A reclaim of $2.20 would require a 16.46% surge and flip the trend.

Until then, smart money support may fuel short rebound legs inside the channel. A failure there opens the door to $1.48, especially if Trump-linked tensions with Iran flare again.

Following a rejection from the highs, the Hyperliquid price is experiencing a significant sell-off, which has dragged the levels to $66. With this, the HYPE price is heading towards a crucial price range where the traders continue to rebuild leveraged positions. HYPE Price Consolidates, But Strong Uptrend Remains Intact
The daily chart shows that interest in the token has been building steadily since the May breakout, which sent the price to fresh highs. Even after facing rejection at those levels, the token is still holding above the newly formed support zone between $63.13 and $64.67, keeping the bullish case intact. Since March, the price has continued to print higher highs and higher lows, backed by strong upward moves, showing that the broader trend remains in favor of the bulls.

At the same time, the orange supply block stands out as a major resistance area where sellers have repeatedly stepped in. The multiple rejections, long wicks, and failure to stay above $75 suggest profit-taking or distribution is happening at these levels. This makes it the key zone to watch, as another rejection could push the token into a period of consolidation or even a deeper pullback. Adding to that, the falling RSI points to weakening momentum, which could tilt the setup neutral to bearish if bulls lose hold of support.

Secret Network's cross-chain bridge to Axelar has been suspended after an attacker exploited a years-old minting flaw to drain $4.67 million in wrapped tokens over seven undetected days.

Both teams disclosed the incident on June 19, confirming approximately $4.67 million in assets were taken from the bridge's Axelar-to-Secret IBC connection. The attack itself began on June 10 but went unnoticed for seven days until a routine cross-chain transfer failed because the bridge's escrow account had been depleted.

Minting Flaw

The vulnerability lived in a modified CW20-ICS20 smart contract deployed on Secret Network for the Axelar bridge connection. Security research firm Common Prefix published a technical breakdown of the incident, finding that two critical validation checks had been commented out from the contract's packet-receive function: one that should have verified incoming token denominations against the legitimate source channel, and one that should have capped outflows to amounts genuinely held in escrow.
