TradFi Trading Strategies Sharing Challenge

Strategy’s STRC preferred stock has fallen as much as 17% below its $100 par value, prompting Arca Chief Investment Officer Jeff Dorman to argue that selling billions of dollars worth of Bitcoin may be the company’s best path to easing pressure on its capital structure.

According to a June 18 X post by Dorman, the recent decline in STRC has left Strategy facing increasingly difficult choices as investors question the sustainability of its preferred stock obligations. The preferred security dropped to a record low of $82.53 on June 18 before recovering and closing at $88.59, remaining well below par value.

Speculation surrounding a potential Blackrock $XRP ETF has resurfaced after Jake Claver, chairman of Digital Ascension Group, suggested the asset manager could eventually launch such a product. His comments also pointed to broader XRPL adoption and institutional discussion around digital asset infrastructure as factors supporting $XRP’s outlook.

The comments came during a June 15 interview with Deep Dive Podcast host Rachel Wolfson. Claver also founded Digital Wealth Partners, manages Syndicately’s SPV investment platform, and works with high and ultra-high net worth families navigating digital asset investments.

Emphasizing his bullishness on $XRP, he predicted:

“I think that we could see a Blackrock ETF.”

The ETF remark was only one part of his broader $XRP thesis. Claver tied that view to XRPL adoption, tokenization, and institutional settlement infrastructure. His comments framed $XRP as a candidate for deeper use in financial markets, not only as an asset that could benefit from a new investment product.

Settlement infrastructure added urgency to the forecast. Claver said the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) and the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) were preparing initiatives related to real-time settlement for June 28.

The executive argued that wider institutional use of $XRP could require a significantly higher price before the asset is used in that capacity

Биткоин ранее обвалился к диапазону низких $60,000 после резкого снижения из зоны $74,000–$76,000. Хотя затем последовал отскок, техническая структура остается под давлением.

 На дневном графике BTC торгуется значительно ниже ключевых скользящих средних:

200-дневная EMA находится значительно выше, около $78,000

50-дневная и 100-дневная EMA развернулись вниз и формируют медвежью структуру


Это указывает на то, что долгосрочный тренд пока не восстановлен, несмотря на краткосрочные попытки роста.

 Важный фактор — объемы: Первичное падение сопровождалось резким всплеском объема, что указывает на капитуляцию и ликвидации. Однако после этого активность покупателей заметно снизилась, а восстановительный рост проходит на ослабленных объемах.
 DOGE, XRP и SHIB также показывают схожую картину: снижение давления продавцов, но недостаток сильного импульса для пробоя ключевых уровней сопротивления.

В целом рынок остается в фазе неопределенности — продавцы теряют контроль, но покупатели еще не набрали достаточной силы, чтобы развернуть тренд.

 Итог: крипторынку по-прежнему нужен новый импульс и рост объема, чтобы подтвердить устойчивое восстановление.
