Crypto analyst Javon Marks says $DOGE’s long-term “step ladder” pattern points to a possible rally toward $2.80 if historical cycles repeat. Meanwhile, Emilio Crypto Bojan says Dogecoin is close to forming a golden cross on the four-hour chart, a setup traders often watch for signs of improving momentum.

Crypto India Outlook: INR Stablecoin Makes the Rupee Go Global – GetBit Founder Makes a Bold Prediction



India is likely to move toward a more balanced cryptocurrency regulatory framework in the coming years, according to GetBit Founder Abhay Agarwal, who believes the current tax structure was introduced during a period when policymakers were still trying to understand a rapidly evolving industry.

Speaking in an interview with Coinpedia, Abhay said the existing 30% tax on crypto gains remains high compared to most other asset classes, but emphasized that the larger challenge is the 1% Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) imposed on every crypto transaction.

“The 30% tax on gains is high compared to most other asset classes, but the bigger issue is the 1% TDS. It effectively acts as a liquidity tax and disproportionately impacts active market participants.”

According to Abhay, the current framework served its purpose by helping regulators monitor the sector. However, as regulatory visibility improves and the industry matures, he expects policymakers to revisit the tax structure. He believes a reduction in TDS is likely to be the first major change, potentially within the next two to four years.

Liquidity Migration Remains the Biggest Consequence

Discussing the impact of the 1% TDS, Abhay identified the migration of liquidity away from India as the most significant consequence.

He explained that financial markets function most efficiently when buyers and sellers can transact without excessive friction. The 1% TDS significantly increases trading costs, particularly for market makers and active participants, prompting a large share of trading activity to move offshore shortly after the rule was introduced.

The Litecoin ETF quietly launched. Is the altcoin ETF era here?

A spot Litecoin ETF is trading, Litecoin is a commodity by law, and the price sits at $44, down 89% from its peak. The gap between the regulatory milestone and the dead-flat chart is the most important lesson of the coming altcoin ETF wave.

The first spot Litecoin ETF began trading in 2026 under the ticker LTCC, launched by Canary Capital after a filing the previous year, making Litecoin one of the first altcoins to win a regulated US exchange-traded fund. Around the same time, the SEC and CFTC formally classified Litecoin as a commodity, removing one of the largest regulatory obstacles that has hung over altcoins since the start of the crypto era.

On paper, this is everything Litecoin holders spent years asking for: a regulated ETF that lets institutions buy the asset through a brokerage account, and a clear legal status that ends the question of whether the token is a security. The catalyst arrived. The validation arrived.

And Litecoin trades at $44, down roughly 89% from its all-time high above $400.

That gap, between the regulatory milestone and the lifeless price, is the most instructive thing about the entire altcoin ETF story, and it is the question every investor watching the coming wave of altcoin funds should sit with. The ETF era for altcoins is truly arriving, with Litecoin already live, Dogecoin and $XRP products advancing, and Solana widely seen as the strongest next candidate.

But Litecoin is the first real-world test of a thesis the market has taken on faith, the thesis that an ETF is a price catalyst, and the early result is sobering. This piece examines what the Litecoin ETF actually delivered, why the price has not responded, which altcoins come next, and what the Litecoin experience teaches about what an ETF can and cannot do.

Spot $XRP ETF flows have been positive for the most part this month. The bounce from $1.14 to $1.29 last weekend has begun to wane though, and the price is once again struggling to stay afloat above the $1.21 local support.

AMBCrypto reported concentrated demand in the South Korean exchange Upbit during the recent price move higher. Since the demand wasn’t reflected evenly across other exchanges, it did not allude to a sustained recovery being underway for $XRP.

As high-cap assets reclaim key levels, investors are once again positioning for the market’s next move.

Ethereum is a prime example. After rallying 4.07% on the 15th of June, ETH reclaimed $1.8k, posting its strongest single-day gain in two weeks.

The move came as broader market sentiment flipped back to risk-on, bringing renewed attention to whether the rally is being driven by speculative leverage or Spot demand.

On-chain and derivatives data suggest positioning is picking up. According to data from CryptoQuant, Ethereum open interest jumped 7.7%, marking its largest daily increase in a month.

Rising Open Interest alongside price appreciation typically signals that new positions are entering the market, adding weight to the debate over what is fueling ETH’s breakout. 

What’s interesting is that much of the activity appears tied to a highly publicized bet. 

As highlighted above, trader Ansem recently opened an Ethereum [ETH] short targeting a move toward $888. The call quickly gained attention across crypto markets.

ETH’s subsequent 4% rally, however, moved decisively against that positioning. The move appears to have amplified FOMO across the derivatives market, with traders rushing to increase exposure. 

Notably, the surge in Open Interest suggests this dynamic is already unfolding in real time. The focus now shifts to Spot demand.

If buyers in the Spot market fail to step in and support the move, Ethereum’s breakout above $1,800 could remain largely leverage-driven. In that case, the rally risks turning into little more than a short squeeze, raising the possibility of a bull trap.
