Hyperliquid's $10B open interest coincides with growth in equity-linked markets: TalosHyperliquid's perpetual futures open interest recently exceeded $10 billion as the platform expanded into equity-linked products, commodities and synthetic pre-IPO trading.

Hyperliquid is now the third-largest perpetual futures exchange, with growth driven primarily by crypto assets and supported by expanding trading in equities, commodities and indexes through Hyperliquid Improvement Proposal-3 (HIP-3), according to digital asset infrastructure provider Talos.

Talos said in a Tuesday report that about $4 billion of open interest is attributable to HIP-3 builder-deployed perpetual markets.

The report highlighted oil, the Nasdaq 100 and technology stock-linked contracts as some of the most actively traded products, while pre-IPO markets drew more than $250 million in open interest ahead of SpaceX's expected public listing. Strategy (Nasdaq: MSTR) Executive Chairman Michael Saylor said bitcoin’s “killer use case” extends beyond payments, outlining a vision for $BTC’s role in global finance. In a June 16 article on X, Saylor argued that bitcoin’s largest opportunity lies in supporting financial markets rather than competing directly with existing payment systems.

The Strategy executive chairman centered the argument on market participants with different objectives. Some investors want raw $BTC exposure, while others seek income, stability, collateral, leverage, payments, growth equity, treasury reserves, or dollar balances that move instantly and pay yield. Bitcoin can serve those needs through financial products and market structures built around $BTC-backed capital.

XRP at $10 Would Mean a $620 Billion Valuation, Analyst Says It’s Still More Achievable Than SpaceX at $15 Trillion
XRP YouTuber Zach Rector has compared the upside potential of XRP with that of newly public aerospace giant SpaceX. 

He argued that XRP offers a more realistic path to a 9x return on investment. 

In a post on X, Rector said XRP reaching $10 would generate roughly a ninefold return for investors. By comparison, he noted that SpaceX would need to grow into a $15 trillion company to deliver similar gains from its recent IPO valuation.

“Same return. Wildly different odds,” Rector wrote.

In a YouTube video, Rector explained the math behind his comparison. He noted XRP was trading around $1.13 with a market capitalization of about $77 billion and a circulating supply of roughly 62 billion tokens.

Under those conditions, a move to $10 would represent an increase of about 800%, turning a $1 investment into nearly $9. XRP’s market capitalization would also climb to around $620 billion.

Rector acknowledged that a valuation above $600 billion sounds enormous. However, he argued it remains achievable given XRP’s ambitions in global payments and tokenized assets.

He added that if XRP’s circulating supply eventually expands to its 100 billion maximum, a $10 price would imply a valuation of roughly $1 trillion.

According to Rector, both scenarios remain “very doable” over the long term.
