Just about two days after Shiba Inu saw a rapid price rally, the asset is back to trading in a downside trajectory as its exchange activity signals rising sell pressure.

On Wednesday, June 17, data provided by crypto analytics platform CryptoQuant shows that the Shiba Inu exchange flow has flipped bearish again, with multi-billion $SHIB tokens returned to exchanges within a day.

The data has revealed a significant difference between the Shiba Inu exchange inflow and outflow, with the former being on the larger side, suggesting that traders have sold more tokens than they have bought in the past day.

As such, the Shiba Inu exchange netflow is currently sitting at 25,245,300,000 $SHIB as more tokens have been sent back to exchanges in several attempts to sell as momentum fades again.

With the Shiba Inu exchange flow turning bearish again, market analysts suggest that speculative traders have taken over the market in the short term, scooping profits realized from the recent market rally.
During the recent market rally that saw leading crypto assets including $SHIB surge by nearly 10% in their trading prices, traders had predicted that the meme token was on track to reclaim the crucial $0.000006 level.

However, Shiba Inu is suddenly back to trading on the bearish side, showing a price decline of over 3% over the last day. This sudden price drop has brought the asset back to trading below the $0.000005 level.

Nonetheless, analysts have predicted that Shiba Inu could still get another shot at recovery in the near term if buyers return to the scene and the exchange flow turns bullish again.

Can Bitcoin (BTC) Defend $68K? The Liquidity Zone Shaping the Short-Term Outlook

In the short term, $68K remains the critical level to monitor.

Bitcoin ($BTC) is currently trading around $65K.

Bitcoin’s recent price action has shifted the liquidity landscape. During the decline below $60K, a significant amount of downside liquidity was absorbed as stop-loss orders and leveraged positions were cleared from the market. With the February low now swept, much of the immediate selling pressure beneath current prices has been addressed.

As a result, liquidity is increasingly concentrated at higher levels, making $68K the most crucial area to watch in the near term. On the downside, the $60K area still represents a notable support area. Traders are keeping an eye on the $74K and $78K levels in the future. If Bitcoin is able to regain higher ground and positive momentum keeps growing, these regions might become important targets.

As per CMC data, Bitcoin, the dominant asset, trades at around $65,312. Besides, the daily trading volume has dropped by over 23.56%, likely reaching the $24.12 billion mark. Volatile market moves forced $58.21 million in total Bitcoin liquidations over the past 24 hours.

If Bitcoin bears get nurtured well, the price might fall to a crucial support range at around $65,202. With more pressure on the downside, the death cross emerges and takes the price even lower, below $65,112. Upon a bullish turn takes place, the $BTC price would rise to a resistance level at $65,481. Assuming the upside pressure is gaining more traction, the price might climb toward $65,591, along with the golden cross.

LAB token jumps 57% in a week as whales pile into long positions

$LAB has extended its rally to a sixth consecutive day, climbing about 57% over the past week as whale buying, technical momentum, and renewed interest in the project's ecosystem pushed the token back toward the $14 level.

Data from CoinGecko showed $LAB trading near $13.91 on June 17, up nearly 40% over the past 24 hours and more than 57% over the previous seven days.

The move comes after the token spent much of early June under pressure following a steep correction from its June 2 all-time high of $27.30.

According to market commentator Alastar, whale wallets added roughly $540,000 in long positions within an hour as $LAB continued its advance.

Data shared by the trader showed 129 whale long positions against 85 short positions, with total long exposure reaching $27.58 million compared with $10.58 million in short exposure.

The same data showed a whale long-to-short ratio of 260.67%, while net whale buying volume during the previous hour stood near $490,000 against approximately $179,000 in net selling.

Alastar described the $13 region as a key level to monitor, noting that larger holders could begin reducing positions around that area because many long positions were already sitting on substantial unrealised profits.

Recent buying activity arrived after $LAB successfully defended support between $9 and $10, a zone that attracted dip buyers after weeks of selling pressure.

Market participants also closed bearish positions as momentum indicators improved, helping fuel a rapid recovery from the June lows.

Speculative interest around the project has also remained active.
