Josh Swihart, CEO of the Zcash development lab, outlined the company's strategy during a recent interview. He explained that the upcoming wallet is designed to allow users to safely transfer and recover their funds in a scenario where quantum computers become powerful enough to break current cryptographic standards. This is not a response to an immediate threat but a proactive measure to ensure long-term asset security.
