Yesterday, I wrote about how Strategy’s STRC ATM had just printed its first billion-dollar volume day. Today, it did it again, bigger.

Tuesday, April 14 closed with an estimated $1.57 billion in STRC volume, 100% of it above the $100 par threshold, implying roughly 16,762 BTC absorbed in a single session. That’s 37 times the daily mined Bitcoin supply, more than a month of global issuance pulled off the market in one trading day.

The stat that should not be buried: on both Monday and Tuesday, 100% of STRC’s traded volume cleared above the $100 par threshold. And the STRC ATM live tracker is the best way to watch it happen in real time.

The global crypto market cap was trading at $2.52 trillion at the time of writing after a hike of 4.66% in the past 24 hours. This bullish sentiment was buoyed by digital asset investment products, which saw inflows worth $1.1 billion in the past week.

As per CoinShares weekly report, the inflow of $1.1 billion was “the largest weekly total since early January.”

A dual role in the global economy Hougan had previously estimated that Bitcoin could reach a price of $1 million per coin if it captured roughly 17% of the store-of-value market over the next decade. The United States has lost an estimated $5 trillion to fraud and improper payments across government programs.

That number should stop us in our tracks.

Yet most policy responses still focus on detection, recovery and enforcement. They miss the underlying issue. Fraud at this scale is not a compliance failure — it is an infrastructure failure and at its center is identity. Addressing it requires a shift away from band-aid solutions toward a re-architecture of our digital identity framework.

There is a growing movement around the idea that identity — and control over access to personal data — belongs to the individual, not to banks, technology platforms or even the government. Even within the financial system, where data use is more tightly regulated, individuals often lack meaningful visibility or control. Data sharing operates through broad, one-time consent frameworks that enable ongoing access and reuse of financial data with limited transparency. BlackRock made a significant contribution through its IBIT fund, which continues to attract substantial amounts of capital, while Fidelity and ARK Invest products also saw steady inflows.

This reversal occurred after a series of sell-offs in late March and early April, suggesting that investors are gradually regaining confidence in the short-term prospects of this leading digital asset.

Ethereum is starting to catch up.

In parallel with Bitcoin, Ethereum ETFs also showed an improving trend, albeit moderately, according to data from FarSide Investors. The approximately $50 million net inflow that day indicates renewed market interest after a period of hesitation.

The largest contributions came from products associated with Fidelity and BlackRock, indicating that institutional investors are beginning to diversify their investments beyond Bitcoin.
