Traders remain in wait-and-see mode over whether local resistance will break.Data from TradingView showed $BTC/USD gaining more than 2% on the day as the June print of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) came in below expectations.
At 3.5% versus the anticipated 3.8%, CPI posted its largest monthly decline since April 2020, per data from US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Energy led the drop despite headwinds from the US-Iran war and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz oil route.

“The index for energy fell 5.7 percent in June after rising 3.9 percent in May, 3.8 percent in April, and 10.9 percent in March,” an official news release stated.Risk assets reacted positively, with US stocks in the green and crypto showing particular relief.

Market expectations of future Federal Reserve financial policy changes also turned dovish, with the odds of interest-rate hikes dropping sharply. The latest data from CME Group’s FedWatch Tool nonetheless maintained consensus for a 0.25% hike at the Fed’s September meeting.This print should help temper what had become an excessively hawkish market tilt to the monetary policy outlook,” economist Mohamed El-Erian wrote in a response on X.

Jito Proposes JIP‑38 to Route All DAO JTX Revenue Into Automated $JTO Buybacks and Burns

Jito submitted JIP-38, a proposal to allocate 100% of the DAO’s 80% share of JTX fees to $JTO buybacks and burns.

The mechanism would operate through a programmed system called “Rev Splitter” that would automatically buy and burn $JTO for at least one year.

The Jito ecosystem is recording strong expansion. The BAM client already runs on 51.6% of Solana validators: $10.65 billion in staking.

Jito, one of the leading companies in the Solana ecosystem, published the governance proposal JIP-38, drafted by Dr. Nick Almond, governance lead at the project’s Foundation. The proposal seeks to allocate the entirety of the 80% of fees generated by JTX —its new self-custody trading platform— to automated buybacks on the open market and the permanent burn of the $JTO token for a minimum period of one year, with a reassessment scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027.

The proposal explicitly defines Jito as a “token-centric network,” a model in which all primary protocol revenues fall under the direct governance of token holders. The only exception is the 20% of JTX fees, reserved for the ongoing development of the platform.

The Shiba Inu (SHIB) price trend remains uncertain. Bears are keen to push the token to new lows, while bulls keep fighting to defend key support levels. It remains unknown how low SHIB will fall, but buying pressure appears to be consistently building.

Over the past day, Shiba Inu whales have made another notable accumulation move, reinforcing their belief that the current price level is a favorable entry point for the next bullish phase.

174,820,700,000 SHIB Withdrawn from Exchanges

Data from CryptoQuant confirmed this move. Its total exchange netflow reading shows that the difference between inflows and outflows in the past 24 hours is a negative 174.8 billion.

This means that holders withdrew 174,820,700,000 SHIB yesterday, worth $792,002 at the current market price of $0.00000417. Notably, such an exodus from exchanges usually ends up in self-custody or third-party wallets, where the tokens cannot be easily sold. 

Meanwhile, the withdrawal continued to reduce the SHIB exchange reserve. The metric fell slightly over the past 24 hours to 86.6 trillion as the amount of the token held on exchanges reduced.

Notably, this not only reduces selling pressure but also improves supply scarcity. If this trend persists and demand starts to return, prices could react considerably.

Additionally, the accumulation continues to highlight the sentiment among whales that Shiba Inu could reclaim higher prices in the future. Buying even when a durable bottom is unclear and price trends near multi-year lows suggest that market participants see a good risk-to-reward ratio at current levels and are positioning accordingly.
