ONDO nears $0.34 support after $2.13mln whale transfer – Can bulls defend it?A whale attracted market attention after depositing 6 million $ONDO, valued at approximately $2.13 million, into Bybit.The transfer originated from a chain of wallets linked back to Wintermute, raising concerns that large holders had begun distributing tokens into market weakness.Following the transaction, $ONDO’s price declined to $0.346, extending losses beyond 7% over the previous 24 hours.Such deposits often increase available exchange supply and can influence short-term sentiment. However, the transaction represented only one side of the broader market picture.As traders evaluated the whale’s intentions, uncertainty increased around whether additional tokens would follow the same path toward exchanges during the coming sessions.
Why are exchange balances still shrinking?Despite the whale transfer, the exchange flow data continued telling a different story.
$ONDO recorded a spot netflow reading of approximately -$571.66K, indicating that more tokens left exchanges than entered them during the measured period. This trend suggested that many holders continued moving assets into private wallets rather than preparing them for sale.
Furthermore, negative Netflows have historically reflected reduced exchange supply, which can ease immediate selling pressure. The contrast between a major deposit and broader outflows created a notable divergence across the market.
While whale activity increased concerns about distribution, exchange balances still pointed toward ongoing accumulation behavior among a larger portion of participants.

Shiba Inu layer 2 blockchain Shibarium saw a sudden burst of activity, which was quickly followed by a drop, and then a sharp rise followed by another drop, forming an 'M' pattern on the daily transaction chart, according to Shibariumscan data.Shibarium daily transactions rose from 732 on May 23 to 7,220 on May 26, a significant increase. But this could not translate into a sustained rise, as it was followed by a drop.

Daily transaction count on Shibarium remained largely below 1,000 from late April, with the recent increase being significant.

Another Bitcoin treasury company exits: suffered massive losses from holding at high prices, lasted less than a year
Eleven months ago, French semiconductor company Sequans Communications launched a corporate Bitcoin reserve initiative in response to the risk of delisting from the New York Stock Exchange. Today, that experiment has ended in failure.

The chipmaker confirmed it has fully repaid its convertible notes by selling its Bitcoin holdings and also plans to gradually liquidate its remaining 658 Bitcoins. At its peak, the company held 3,234 Bitcoins.

Sequans had previously stated its intention to accumulate over 3,000 Bitcoins as a long-term reserve asset. However, this so-called 'long-term' horizon lasted less than a year.

The company’s stock (ticker: SQNS) has declined 77% year-to-date and is down 97% over the past five years.

Sequans launched its Bitcoin reserve program on June 23, 2025, at which time Swan Bitcoin and its CEO Cory Klippsten were actively promoting the initiative (note: Swan Bitcoin served as the exclusive manager and advisor for Sequans’ Bitcoin reserve strategy). Just 18 days before the program’s launch, the NYSE had issued Sequans a delisting warning, as both its market capitalization and shareholders’ equity had fallen below the exchange’s minimum listing threshold of USD 50 million.

Sequans’ latest announcement confirms full repayment of its convertible notes.

At the time, Klippsten stated, 'Sequans is poised to become a leader in corporate Bitcoin reserves.' Back then, SQNS traded at USD 23.40 per share; today, it opened at just USD 3.98.
