According to Jinse Finance, Adrian Cheng, CEO of Cyberport in Hong Kong, said that since the government issued a virtual asset policy statement at the end of October last year, more than 180 Web3 companies have built the entire ecosystem. The number of companies is continuing to grow at a healthy rate, and most of the companies are mainly focused on application areas, including financial services, life and entertainment, among others. Among them, more than 20 companies are engaged in Web3-related technologies, such as data analysis, and there are also more than 10 blockchain infrastructure companies. Cheng also said that although most of the new companies entering Cyberport are from overseas, many of them are actually Chinese. He said that although Hong Kong's digitalization process is not as advanced as other countries or regions, he hopes that Hong Kong can take a step forward from the previous slow process, such as launching the Cyberport Dollar wallet, which he believes will be a good opportunity.
