Mantle has pledged 40,000 ETH through Lido, and intends to introduce pledge applications such as wstETH into the Mantle ecosystem

On August 22nd, it was reported that the Ethereum Layer2 network, Mantle Network, pledged 40,000 ETH to Lido from the DAO treasury on August 21st. Mantle stated that this is the first action authorized by the MIP-25 proposal, and the wstETH is currently stored in the MantleTreasury, awaiting the next steps. They hope to continue working with Lido to introduce wstETH and other ETH collateral applications into the Mantle ecosystem in the near future. Earlier reports stated that on August 8th, according to the Snapshot page, the Mantle Network treasury governance proposal MIP-25 was voted through, and it will implement a maximum collateral strategy of up to 200,000 ETH, with a separate upper limit of 40,000 ETH for Lido's collateral strategy, and establish the Mantle Economic Committee as a subordinate governance body to make decisions.
