Specific incidents include: On August 14th, Hexagate tweeted that a single MEV Bot was exploited for about $200,000 in the past few days. The Zunami Protocol on Ethereum was subjected to price manipulation attacks, resulting in a loss of 1,179 ETH (approximately $2.2 million). On August 15th, the official Twitter account of Ethereum scaling solution Metis was hacked. The official Discord server of Sei Network was hacked. The Base ecosystem project Rocket Swap was attacked, with the attacker stealing RCKT tokens and converting them to ETH worth approximately $868,000 and cross-chain transferring them to Ethereum. On August 16th, the SwirlLend lending protocol team stole about $2.9 million in cryptocurrency from Base and $1.7 million in cryptocurrency from Linea. Made by Apes' SaaSy Labs APl, a chain-based license application platform launched by BAYC, had a problem that allowed access to personal details of MBA applications.
