Independent metals trader Tai Wong said: "Traders steadily pushed and achieved the silver $100 milestone; next, investors will watch whether the silver price can close above this level or if recent profit-taking will begin." Wong added: "Gold's role as a safe haven and asset allocation during periods of high economic and political uncertainty makes it a must-have in strategic portfolios. This is not just a short-term 'perfect storm,' but a signal that fundamental changes are occurring."
