Crypto companies raise $158M in funding, with ZetaChain and BitGo leading the pack

Nine cryptocurrency companies have collectively raised $158 million in funding this week, with ZetaChain securing the largest amount of $27 million. The blockchain developer aims to simplify and make crypto more interoperable by creating an EVM-compatible layer-1 blockchain that allows users to access their wallet's assets and data on a single platform. Linera, another layer-1 blockchain, raised $6 million in its latest seed round and plans to expand its team, launch a devnet and testnet, and make its mark in the APAC region. BitGo, a crypto custody firm, raised $100 million in its series C round and is now valued at $1.75 billion.
