New Zealand Parliament Report Advises Against Hasty Crypto Regulation

According to a report prepared for the New Zealand House of Representatives committee, despite increasing calls for regulation of cryptocurrencies in many parts of the world, regulation should not be rushed. The report suggest addressing issues as they arise and recommend that governments and regulatory bodies develop coherent and consistent guidelines for handling digital assets in accordance with existing laws. The report also suggests that lawmakers can observe regulatory progress in the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia before making local decisions.
