NY Times Resists AI Training Using Its Content

The use of ChatGPT in the US workforce has become widespread, with some companies like Microsoft and Google already restricting its use. Media publishers are now considering whether it makes sense to integrate AI tools like ChatGPT into their everyday operations, but there are concerns that current AI chatbot technology could cause significant harm. The New York Times has updated its Terms of Service to restrict its content from being used for purposes of training any machine learning system or AI models, such as ChatGPT.
