In a recent interview, Vitalik Buterin ("V God") said, "Cryptographic projects do not need to be decentralized. IOTA and XRP are still completely centralized, but they are still listed as cryptographic assets on CoinMarketCap." Buterin also pointed out that "XRP did not apologize for the previous criticism event. At that time (December 2020), they claimed in documents submitted to the US government that XRP should be more favored than Bitcoin and Ethereum."
