Replication of Superconducting Material LK-99 Sparks Interest in Crypto Community
08/04 17:45
A team at Huazhong University of Science and Technology claims to have successfully replicated the superconducting material LK-99, which was previously engineered by South Korean scientists to work under ambient temperature and pressure. This breakthrough has caused a stir in both the scientific and crypto communities, with several LK99 memecoins already being listed on decentralized exchange Uniswap. Superconductor technology is highly valued for its potential use in large-scale quantum computing, and room-temperature superconductivity could greatly accelerate its development. Previously, blockchain experts had warned that quantum computers could eventually inverse the encryption method of current cryptocurrencies, but this breakthrough could potentially prevent that from happening.
