On March 15, Galaxy Research Chief Researcher Alex Thorn stated that if the US crypto regulatory bill CLARITY Act fails to pass the Senate committee review by the end of April, the probability of its passage in 2026 will significantly decrease. The bill needs to enter the Senate full vote agenda by early May. The current controversy over stablecoin rewards is considered the main obstacle, but Thorn pointed out that even if this issue is compromised, other disputes such as DeFi, developer protection, SEC authority, and ethics may still arise.
