June 23 (Huobi) -The Bitcoin codebase has been updated to avoid potential issues with a new member being added to std::allocator in C++23. The issue was discovered by Microsoft and will be reverted before it ships. The update serves as a reminder that giving the C++ Standard Committee control of the public interface of a type can lead to breakages, and suggests that other types such as zero_after_free_allocator should also be considered for similar updates.
