US Republicans Send Letter to SEC Chairman on Regulation of Digital Asset Trading Platforms

Republicans in the U.S. have sent a letter to Gary Gensler, chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), urging Gary Gensler to develop clear regulations for digital assets. The letter pointed out that Gary Gensler had previously admitted that digital asset trading platforms were not fully suitable for existing laws and regulations, but at the same time, Gary Gensler failed to provide a path to allow digital asset trading platforms to register.
