According to NewsUnrolled, Russian Ambassador to Tehran Alexei Dedov said in an interview with RIA Novosti that Russia and Iran are exploring the possibility of using digital currencies for export-import operations, but a regulatory framework is needed. “The use of digital currencies and digital financial assets in settlements for export-import transactions is being considered by both Russia and Iran. However, the process of reaching any specific agreement is still under study,” the diplomat said. He emphasized that this issue is not easy and requires careful expert work, including the establishment of the necessary legal framework.
