WSJ correspondent: Fed is set to raise its benchmark rate by 25 bps to a range between 4.5% and 4.75%

Nick Timiraos, Chief economics correspondent at The Wall Street Journal, tweeted that the Fed is set to raise its benchmark rate by 25 bps Wednesday to a range between 4.5% and 4.75%. The FOMC statement is out at 2 pm ET, with particular focus on how officials guide expectations around “ongoing increases”.
