This Thursday, Jan. 12, OPLabs is upgrading the Optimism Goerli testnet to Bedrock.
The upgrade starts at 18:00 UTC, and will take about 2 hours.  As a reminder, most users & apps won’t be impacted by this upgrade. The new Optimism Goerli chain will be a continuation of the old one, ensuring as seamless an upgrade as possible.
After this process, Optimism Goerli Testnet will have all the benefits that come with Bedrock:
• estimated 20% decrease in gas fees
• significantly reduced deposit time
• an even more secure, stable codebase & product
• greatly simplified node infrastructure

【 OP Labs to upgrade the Optimism Goerli testnet to Bedrock】This Thursday, Jan. 12, OPLabs is upgrading the Optimism Goerli testnet to Bedrock.
