South Korean lawmaker propose amendments to digital asset regulations, requiring virtual asset service providers to segregate client assets

According to News1, a lawmaker from South Korea’s ruling People Power Party proposed amendments to the regulations on digital assets to avoid a similar incident of the FTX Collapse from happening again. The amendments require virtual asset service providers to segregate client assets and empower financial authorities to crack down on unfair trading practices.
