Crypto lender Genesis asks Binance and Apollo for cash

According to the Wall Street Journal, Cryptocurrency firm Genesis is still trying to raise cash.
The lender has approached crypto exchange Binance for an investment and to bid for its loan book, according to people familiar with the matter.
Genesis had approached crypto exchange Binance for investment and bid for its lending book. Binance decided not to invest due to concerns that some of Genesis' businesses could create conflicts of interest in the future.
