Rarible's proposal to build a zero-fee Apecoin marketplace fails

The Apecoin DAO voted down Rarible's proposal to create a zero-fee Apecoin marketplace, AIP-97, with the vote showing that the proposal received 85.65% of the votes against. It is reported that the ApeCoin DAO also rejected proposals by Magic Eden and X Marketplace to create Apecoin marketplaces in September, as the community may have felt that these marketplaces could have centralisation issues.
