2022/10/29 09:40

According to a recent BBC report, unreleased songs by British singer Ed Sheeran and American rapper Lil Uzi Vert, among others, were stolen by a hacker who sold the songs on the dark web to earn cryptocurrency, which the hacker later used to gain £130,000 in illegal proceeds. The case began in 2019 when a user named Spirdark stole 1,263 unreleased songs from 89 artists. During the investigation, the prosecution managed to locate the hacker Kwiatkowski by obtaining the email address where Spirdark set up his cryptocurrency account, and found the hacker's recorded methods of stealing songs and the now confiscated bitcoins on his hard drive.
