Crypto hackers steal over $2.5 billion in Q3

In the third quarter of 2022, despite a 43% drop in the number of blockchain hackers in the most recent quarter compared to the second quarter, hackers managed to steal a total of about $483 million, according to an analysis conducted by Atlas, in the third quarter of 2022. The total amount lost by blockchain hackers during the quarter was $2,570,117,825, and the amount lost was determined based on the exchange rate of a particular cryptocurrency at the time of the hack or fraud.
