According to News1, the Financial Services Commission of South Korea The report evaluated that the greater the proportion of single-listed virtual assets and stable coins in virtual asset operators, the higher the risk of money laundering. The FSC said that it is necessary to evaluate the tradability of the token, and in particular, stable coins that are commonly used by the public are more likely to be used as a means of crime. The FSC announced the 'Results of the Survey of Virtual Asset Businesses in the First Half of 2022', revealing the number of individually listed virtual assets in circulation in the domestic virtual asset market. The number of individually listed virtual assets in the second half of 2021 decreased by 12 from 403 to 391 in the first half of 2022. In addition to monitoring existing high-value depositors, it was argued that monitoring of customers depositing high-value virtual assets was also necessary. Based on the sum of the number of virtual assets owned by each customer multiplied by the closing price of the virtual asset at the end of the previous quarter It is necessary to monitor the size and fluctuations of assets.
