Director of the Blockchain Association: Retail investors have largely exited bitcoin investments

10/22 11:57

In an interview with CNBC, Kristin Smith, executive director of the Blockchain Association, noted that the current volatility of bitcoin seems to be stabilizing compared to other months. The main reason for this is that retail investors have largely exited bitcoin investments and they can't afford to put their extra money into bitcoin at the moment. However, she believes that investors who are still investing in bitcoin now will stick around for the long term. Kristin Smith said, "As we start to see the economy recover and people put more risk into their portfolios, we will see an increase in investment in bitcoin and subsequently a rise in price."
