Hong Kong regulator is considering allowing retail investors to invest directly in crypto assets

According to Bitcoin.com, Elizabeth Wong, head of licensing and head of the fintech division at the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) in Hong Kong, confirmed that the regulator is considering allowing retail investors to invest directly in crypto assets. Elizabeth Wong said that Hong Kong's crypto regulatory environment is different from that of the mainland, and she stressed that Hong Kong could introduce its own bill to regulate cryptocurrencies.
